We have proposed a configuration of single‐layered touch electrodes for capacitive touch panel and a low‐side self‐capacitive sensing circuit that can be adopted to large area touch screen. A 4.0‐in capacitive touch panel which consists of large resistive electrodes and the driver circuit with the proposed method shows high touch sensitivity at high resistive electrodes.
