By incorporating quantum dot enhancement films (QDEF), new‐generation LCDs can achieve significantly higher power efficiency. For displays with sRGB color gamut, 20% higher power efficiency can be obtained. For high color gamut, such as Adobe‐RGB and DCI‐P3, QDEF combined with today's CF72 color filters can deliver the same power efficiency as current sRGB displays using white LEDs.
