An autostereoscopic 2‐D/3‐D switchable display using Liquid‐crystal‐lenticular (LCL) lens was fabricated. Two LC orientation modes, VM mode and PM mode, were employed respectively. The characters of the two modes were analyzed with the measured n eff profile and focusing property. Based on the measured results, PM mode was laminated on 32inch 4K2K (3840times2160) panel, and the luminance distribution was measured.
