This paper mainly talks about how backlight sheets prism and LED bar position influence on the ADS mode Open cell transmission. To get a higher transmission, we suggest prism (90°) above with E mode LCD, and prism (0°) above with O mode LCD, diffuser and other optical materials cannot be ignored also. Optical film and other optical materials cause the backlight is partially polarized light, rather than ideal nature light.
