We reported a nanostructured diamond‐like carbon (DLC) nanomesh by using nanosphere lithography as a protective coating for display panel. The proposed DLC coating not only provides highly rub resistivity and self‐cleaning effects but also has excellent optical transparency for display application. The 120‐nm‐thick DLC nanomesh showed 94.4% transparency compared with the PC substrate. It also performed high hardness of 13.75 GPa under 1000 μN loading and great hydrophobicity of water contact angle of ~108° due to the lotus effects.
