A foldable organic TFT (OTFT) backplane has been successfully developed on a PEN film, using compatible processes with FPD manufacturing. The OTFTs were fabricated on a Gen. 1 substrate with sputtered Al‐based electrodes and solution‐processed organic dielectrics. The typical mobility of the fabricated OTFT is 2.4 cm 2 /Vs. The fabricated backplane is highly flexible, and the electrical properties of the OTFTs are not changed even after the bending operation with a radius of 2 mm.
