Optical characterization of multi‐view auto‐stereoscopic displays is performed using high angular resolution viewing angle measurements. In addition to the standard way computing crosstalk and qualified monocular and binocular viewing spaces, a new method based on the purity of the images for each eye is presented. A more precise picture of the stereoscopy quality of such displays is deduced and illustrated on different examples.
