We developed a large‐scale image display system with LEDs aligned in an X shape. Aligning pixels in an X shape served to reduce the number of LEDs without losing resolution in the horizontal and vertical directions. Applying image processing also enabled us to suppress false color at high frequency caused by the X‐shaped alignment.
