We have demonstrated bottom‐emitting large‐area white OLED devices in which the transparent anode was formed by a random network of silver nanowires. This nanowire layer was deposited on the glass substrate from an aqueous suspension by spin‐coating where it formed an optically and electrically uniform layer. The nanowire density of the film could be easily varied by a change in coating process parameters which resulted in sheet resistances of the film between 5 Ω/ sq and 10 Ω/ sq .
