We compared the circular polarizing filter method and liquid crystal shutter method. We were interested in comparing how these methods affect convergence and accommodation, when subjects viewed 3D images. The numeric values for convergence‐accommodation with the liquid crystal shutter were very close. However, in the case of the circular polarized filter method, there was discrepancy in the values of convergence and accommodation.
