A novel method is developed to synthesize single crystal ZnO nanostructures combining the reducing thermal annealing and mist chemical vapor deposition processes. The sizes of ZnO single crystal structures can be controlled with adjusting the parameters in mist CVD. The structural and optical properties of ZnO nanostructures are investigated.
