Few doctors suffer under burgeoning state relicensing laws. Most physicians have no trouble complying with recent laws in 15 states, requiring continuing medical education, or CME, to keep their licenses…. CME has therefore become a booming business, with universities and other groups offering 8,081 courses in 1979‐80, up from 4,862 in 1975‐76.
