This article announces that WorldWater & Solar Technologies Corporation has received an order to produce 10 of its portable Mobile MaxPure? units for use in the Darfur region of western Sudan. The proprietary, solar‐driven water pumping and purifying units, purchased for a total of $775,000, will provide approximately 30,000 gpd of safe drinking water at each of 10 sites across the desert region, which is experiencing a major humanitarian crisis.
