This article reports that GE Water & Process Technologies, a unit of General Electric Co., has joined its parent company in announcing the expansion of its five‐year, $20 million African infrastructure and health care initiative. GE Water is expanding the initiative by providing water scarcity solutions to two hospitals located in Kumasi and Kintampo in Ghana. Officially launched in 2004, GE's African health care initiative has donated equipment to the US‐based nonprofit Assist International, which in turn has made donations to health services in Ghana.
