In the May 1996 article by James A. Nilson and Francis A. DiGiano (“Influence of NOM Composition on Nanofiltration”), the scale on the y axis in Figure 14 was incorrect. The correct scale, from top to bottom, is 7.00, 6.00, 5.00, 4.00, 3.00, 2.00, 1.00, and 0.00. In the December 1996 article by Peter B. Merkle et al (“Characterizing Filter Media Mineral Coatings”), two errors occurred with the photographs accompanying the text. On page 63, the caption was incorrect. The photo with the correct caption is reprinted. In addition, the photos on page 68 were positioned incorrectly. If their positions are reversed, then the discussion of these photos in the article is correct. The January 1997 Small Systems column entitled “What Do the SDWA Amendments Mean for Small Systems?” should have been listed as written by Peter E. Shanghan, US Environmental Protection Agency, and Michelle Moustakous, USEPA Region IX.
