The coliform growth response (CGR) procedure referenced in the article, “Measurement of Biodegradable Organic Matter and Bacterial Growth in Drinking Water,” by P.M. Huck (Journal AWWA, July 1990) should not have been identified as an approved US Environmental Protection Agency method.
