This article describes the experience that Leavenworth, Washington, had with implementing a composite correction program (CCP), which focuses on optimizing performance of existing facilities and consists of two components: a comprehensive performance evaluation (CPE); and, comprehensive technical assistance (CTA). Objectives of the CCP were to achieve optimized performance goals and to regain filtration credit for the facility.
