This article discusses compliance with the US Environmental Protection Agency's (USEPA's) Accidental Release Requirements, also known as the Risk Management Plan (RMP). Suggestions are made about developing a management system, procedures and policies for conducting hazard assessments, compliance audits, and incident investigations. Emergency response and deadline compliance and penalties are discussed.
