Synthesis and X‐Ray Crystal Structure Analysis of a Novel Mixed‐Valent Zwitterionic Diphosphorus Fluoro Compound The cyclic zwitterionic λ 6 P,λ 4 P‐diphosphorus compound F 5 P – N(Me)P + [N(Me)C(=O)] 2 NMe ( 3 ), which contains a biuret system, was synthesized by the reaction of (MeNPF 3 ) 2 ( 1 ) with MeNCO ( 2 ). Compound 3 was characterized by means of 1 H‐, 13 C‐, 19 F‐ and 31 P‐NMR spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry. A single‐crystal X‐ray structure determination revealed the presence of two independent formula units, in which the –N(Me)PF 5 side chains display widely differing conformations.
