Such popular study abroad locations as Italy, Japan, Indonesia, Nepal, and the Philippines are all located in areas highly prone to earthquakes. The potentially devastating nature of these disasters creates the need for campus professionals to prepare students and staff before traveling to earthquake‐prone areas.
