The Prevention Innovations Research Center at the University of New Hampshire released a study, entitled Informing Students about Campus Policies and Resources: How They Get the Message Matters , in which researchers explored the most effective methods for disseminating information about campus sexual assault policies to first‐year students. Last fall, the university was given a grant by the Department of Justice to research best practices for educating students on rules regarding sexual misconduct and on‐campus support for those involved in or affected by sexual assault. While many colleges and universities have introduced stricter sexual assault policies in recent years, the difficulty remains in educating students and ensuring that they are fully aware of the resources at their disposal.
