1,4‐Dioxanes perfluorinated at C 2 and C 3 of type (4) are accessible from dicarbonyl compounds (1) , ethylene dimesylate (3) , and KF (1:1:2). The synthesis can be generalized (M = methanesulfonyl; R f , R′ f = F, CF 3 ).
