Abstract Two additional cranial specimens from Vindija cave, Croatia, are described. One specimen is a zygomatic, providing the first information about the midfacial anatomy of the Vindija hominids. The other specimen is a frontal/supraorbital torus fragment. Both specimens exhibit morphology typically associated with Neandertals. They derive from level G 1 and provide further indication that both the level G 3 and G 1 hominids at Vindija represent Neandertals. © 1994 Wiley‐Liss, Inc.
