Abstract An isobaric calorimeter has been built for measuring the integral heat of vaporization at high pressures and low temperatures simultaneously with vapor‐liquid equilibria data. The methane‐ethylene system was studied at 20 and 40 atm., with data obtained on three mixtures and the two pure components. The experimental results are compared with three different calculation methods.
