Azobenzene‐containing crosslinked ferroelectric liquid‐crystalline polymers offer unique opportunities for reversible, high‐contrast switching of a second‐order nonlinear optical response in the solid state. Atsushi Shishido and co‐workers show on p. 6410 that this is achieved by reversibly controlling non‐centrosymmetric chromophore alignment through two‐photon isomerization of azobenzene molecules.
