The school's progress of the School of Chemistry at Beihang University on bioinspired superwettability systems is presented: with micro‐ or nanoscale roughness, superhydrophilic, superoleophilic, superhydrophobic or superoleophobic surfaces can be obtained (the four platelets on the left) which combine to 64 wetting states. Unique natural materials with dynamic wettability such as nepenthe and spider silk, inspire the fabrication of novel martials with water transportation or collection.
