Abstract Interfacing cables can radiate electromagnetic energy which could be an electromagnetic compatibilty problem. A rigorous full‐wave moment method has been used to model this radiation by a finite size printed circuit board with an extended conductor. © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
