Temporary riboflavin deficiency in young mice tends to enhance chemically‐induced skin carcinogenesis. When mice are kept on a normal diet, the injection of riboflavin before initiation or promotion does not affect the tumor induction by the two‐step mechanism of chemical carcinogenesis.
