Abstract The use of the Brewster angle is proposed for radome windows with plane‐polarized aperture antenna systems. Since no frequency‐dependent surface layers are required for matching, the frequency performance should be as broadband as the dielectric itself. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
