The present study deals with the heterocyclization of Schiff bases of 4-(benzylideneamino)-N-(4-(2,4dichlorophenyl)-6-(6-methylnaphthalen-2-yl)pyrimidin-2-yl)benzenesulfonamide] into (2H)-Pyrrole-2-ones derivatives. Synthesized compounds were confirmed by IR, 1H NMR, 13 C NMR, mass spectral and elemental analysis. The reaction was performed by using ordinary condensation type, which enabled to easy work-up and good yield. All the newly synthesized compounds were evaluated for their antibacterial activities.
