Resumo A relevância do conhecimento e da inovacao nas economias modernas reforca o interesse por pesquisadores em analisar estudos sobre KIBS, Negocios com Uso Intensivo de Conhecimento, em diversos paises, tendo maior enfase na Europa. O objetivo geral deste artigo, parte integrante do estudo de doutoramento em gestao, e identificar conceitos e dimensoes em que pesquisadores basearam suas investigacoes. A revisao da literatura realizada nesse trabalho foi feita com uso da analise bibliometrica utilizando a base de dados SCOPUS no periodo de 2000-2014, configurando um estudo exploratorio e qualitativo. Neste sentido, os principais resultados da pesquisa apontam reflexoes geradas com as leituras, criando uma nova direcao para entender a definicao conceitual de KIBS, sendo percebidos como fomentadores de inovacao e geradores de mudancas que dependem fortemente de conhecimento tacito incorporado em seus empregados, bem como no conhecimento codificado, o qual e ao mesmo tempo de entrada e saida. As dimensoes encontradas no estudo foram consideradas como dimensoes-chave, sendo: (i) conhecimento, (ii) inovacao, (iii) espacial; (iv)  geracao de riqueza e qualificacao de pessoas e (v) institucional. Abstract The relevance of knowledge and innovation in modern economies reinforces the interest of researchers in analyzing studies on KIBS, Business with Knowledge Intensive Use in several countries, with emphasis on Europe. The purpose of this paper, an integral part of doctoral study in management is to identify concepts and dimensions that researchers based their investigations. The literature review conducted for this study was done with use of bibliometric analysis using the SCOPUS database during the period 2000-2014, setting up an exploratory qualitative study. In this sense, the main results of the study indicate reflections generated with readings, creating a new direction for understanding the conceptual definition of KIBS, being perceived as promoters of innovation and generating changes that rely heavily on tacit knowledge embedded in employees as well as codified knowledge, which is both inlet and outlet. The dimensions found in this study were considered as key dimensions, namely: (i) knowledge (ii) innovation, (iii) space; (iv) generation of wealth and qualification of persons and (v) institutional.
