The Mango is specie that has adapted well to the Brazil hot and humid climate, especially, in the region of Mato Grosso State. Their growthand developmentis relatedto the environmental conditions, mainlyto the air temperature, since this in habits or promotes the mango growth and development, because of the modification of enzyme activities. Somestudies have usedfield dataand computer simulationas a way to assess the minimum maximum and optimum temperature to growth and development of plants in response fair temperature action. Thus, this study aimed to evaluate the cardinal temperatures for “Purple Mango”, using the nonlinear model of computer simulation proposed by Wang-Engel (WE). The proposed method was efficient and the cardinal temperatures determined were 10.61 °C, 29.36 °C and 54.88 °C for Tb, Top and TB, respectively, and RMSE value obtained in the simulation was 0,098682, which demonstrated a good fit between simulated data to the observed data. The mango fruits utilized for simulation took 98 days to reach physiological maturity, resulting in thermal sum of1710.36 °C day.
