For companies to become more competitive, it is necessary to search for continuous improvements and knowledge of their processes. One way to achieve this goal is through better process planning, which should identify losses or opportunities. In this context, Computational Simulation is an analysis tool that has demonstrated great relevance because it allows to verify the operation of systems considering different scenarios and thus, it is possible to validate models and / or identify procedures that introduce improvements in the system. At this juncture, the contribution of this work is the use of simulation as a study tool in a distribution system. For this, a case study was conducted at a beverage retailer. The research was limited to the operation of the Conference of Return of Route and the techniques used were the brainstorming, data collection with the company and later simulation with the use of ARENA® software. The results allowed to know the use of the resources, opening a horizon for the introduction of improvements.
