The tests carried out had the objective of the physical and chemical characterization of the soil in the left bank of the São Raimundo stream, and the new phase of the PROSAMIM Program will be implemented. Using the main tests for the classification, such as: Liquidity limit, Limit of plasticity, Limit of contraction, Specific mass of soil grains, Screening, Sedimentation, Compaction, among other tests. The sample was collected and taken to the Pavement Laboratory of the Civil Engineering Department of the Federal University of Amazonas, where it was studied for a careful classification applied in this study. The tests are carried out according to the specific standards of ABNT and with the equipment available at the educational institution, also according to the norms.
