Planos de Bacia e Relatorios de Situacao sao instrumentos fundamentais para a gestao e planejamento dos recursos hidricos no âmbito das Bacias Hidrograficas, sendo os Comites de Bacia responsaveis por aprovar e acompanhar sua implementacao e atualizacao conforme consta nas legislacoes referentes a gestao dos recursos hidricos. Este trabalho teve como objetivo realizar uma analise da situacao atual desses instrumentos no Estado de Sao Paulo, considerando sua disponibilidade, vigencia e atualizacao, bem como investigar o acesso a informacao, a fim de fornecer uma visao deste cenario. Foi realizada uma pesquisa exploratoria entre os anos de 2015 e 2016, por meio de buscas no portal de informacoes do Sistema Integrado de Gerenciamento dos Recursos Hidricos do Estado de Sao Paulo e nas paginas eletronicas institucionais dos Comites de Bacia Hidrografica. Foi constatado que as Unidades de Gerenciamento de Recursos Hidricos possuem Planos de Bacias e Relatorios de Situacao, porem foi observado que muitos desses documentos estavam desatualizados ou ausentes para consulta no sistema. Basin Committees are responsible for approving and monitoring the implementation and updating of these instruments as cited in legislation on water resources management. This study aimed to carry out an analysis of the current situation of these instruments in Sao Paulo State, considering their availability, validity and update, as well as investigating access to information in order to provide an overview. It was held an exploratory research between the years 2015 and 2016 through searches in institutional homepages of Integrated Water Resources Management System of Sao Paulo State and of River Basin Committees. It was noted that the River Basins has Basin Plans and Situation Reports, but many of these documents are not available in the system and they are outdated .
