Fifty cases of 1epromatous leprosy we re inc Juded in a double blind trial to assess the therapeutic value of D A D D S in lepromatous lepros y using DDS as the control drug. During the period of 1 9 months the study has been in progress, 2 8 cases were lost to the study owing to patients going away on voluntar y d ischarge , etc. In the 2 2 cases who continued to participa t e in the study over a period of 1 5 -1 9 m onths, the findings indicate that the drug is effec tive and well tolerated .
