The article focuses on the methodology for assessing the competitiveness ranking of economic regions. Based on measuring the effectiveness of creating added value, methodological approaches to rating assessment of economic entities’ competitiveness are also investigated. Here, it is important to identify the factors that influence competitiveness level of the economic regions.
