Esta pesquisa propoe a elaboracao de uma colecao de mapas digitais de Londrina, cidade com aproximadamente 500 mil habitantes, localizada na regiao Norte do estado do Parana. Para tal, foi necessaria a realizacao de ampla pesquisa bibliografica sobre os mapas produzidos em diferentes etapas do crescimento da cidade. A pesquisa envolveu uma fase de coleta e analise dos dados fornecidos pelo Instituto de Pesquisa e Planejamento Urbano de Londrina (IPPUL), como tambem da minuta de lei do Plano Diretor de Londrina proposta em 2008, que se encontra em processo de aprovacao na Câmara Municipal, o qual resultou na confeccao de novos mapas digitais, dinâmicos, com alta resolucao. Abstract This research aims at developing a collection of digital maps of Londrina, a city of approximately 500,000 inhabitants located in the northern region of Parana State. To this end, it was necessary to carry out extensive research literature on the maps produced at different stages of growth of the city. The research involved a stage of collecting and analyzing data provided by the Institute for Urban Research and Planning of Londrina (IPPUL), as well as the draft law of the proposed Master Plan for Londrina in 2008, which is in the approval process at City Hall.
