O presente trabalho foi realizado no Municipio de Irati (PR), localizado na Regiao Centro-Sul do Estado do Parana. A regiao possui uma economia baseada na agricultura com producao de milho, feijao, soja, trigo cebola, batata e outras olericolas. O objetivo do presente estudo foi efetuar um levantamento dos agrotoxicos, quanto a quantidade, marcas e classes aplicados nas lavouras da Regiao de Irati, Parana, no sentido de avaliar os possiveis danos ambientais. Os dados para analise foram fornecidos pela SEAB Nucleo Regional de Irati, onde as informacoes foram disponibilizadas junto a Secretaria da Agricultura e Meio Ambiente. Os dados revelam que na Regiao de Irati e alto o consumo de agrotoxicos, levando a impactos e desequilibrios ambientais, que precisam ser acompanhados e monitorados de forma permanente. Constata-se o consumo elevado de agrotoxicos tanto de toxidez como periculosidade ambiental Classe I e Classe II. Abstract This study was conducted in the city of Irati (PR), located in the Central Region of the State of Parana. The region has an economy based on agriculture with production of corn, beans, soybeans, wheat, onions, potatoes and other vegetables. The aim of this study is to carry out a survey on pesticides, as well as quantity, brands and grades applied to crops in the region of Irati in order to assess possible environmental damage. The data for analysis were provided by SEAB Regional Center of Irati, where the information was available from the Secretary of Agriculture and the Environment. The data show that in the region of Irati consumption of pesticides is high, leading to imbalances and environmental impacts that need to be tracked and monitored on an ongoing basis. There is high consumption of both pesticides and toxic environmental hazard Class I and Class II.
