Recentment, certes tendències en filosofia estan reavaluant la noció d’un naturalisme no reduccionista, tant en un sentit metodològic com ontològic, introduint la noció suposadament original de «supervenció». Alguns dels seus representants argumenten que la crítica husserliana al naturalisme inspirada pel transcendentalisme kantià ja no és viable amb vista al progrés científic recent. A continuació, ens proposem examinar si la crítica dels defensors d’aquest naturalisme renovat està o no justificada confrontant els seus arguments amb l’autèntic sentit de la crítica transcendental al naturalisme i tenint en vista l’estatut del significat i la seva correlació essencial amb una vida subjectiva racional (teòrica, valorativa i volitiva) constitutiva de sentit. Esperem mostrar que la fenomenologia transcendental no solament no s’oposa a la investigació científica natural, tal com sostenen els seus detractors, sinó que més aviat pot estar més ben equipada per proveir les ciències naturals d’un complement i d’un fonament filosòfics en el context d’un nou canvi de paradigma científic postmecanicista.In recent times, certain trends in philosophy are re-evaluating the notion of a non-reductive naturalism in both a methodological and ontological sense by introducing the supposedly original notion of supervenience. Some of their representatives argue that the Husserlian critique of naturalism inspired by Kant’s transcendental stance is no longer tenable in view of recent scientific progress. We propose to assess whether the supporters of this renewed naturalism are justified or not in their critique, confronting their arguments to the authentic sense of Husserl’s transcendental critique of naturalism, keeping in view the status of meaning as essentially correlated to a sense-constituting rational (theoretical, evaluative and volitional) subjective life. We hope thus to show that transcendental phenomenology is not only opposed to natural scientific research, as its critics claim, but rather that it may even be better suited to provide natural sciences with a philosophical complement and foundation within the context of a new, post-mechanistic, scientific paradigm shift.Recientemente, ciertas tendencias en filosofía están reevaluando la noción de un naturalismo no reduccionista, tanto en un sentido metodológico como ontológico, introduciendo la noción supuestamente original de «supervenencia». Algunos de sus representantes argumentan que la crítica husserliana al naturalismo inspirada por el transcendentalismo kantiano ya no es viable en vistas del progreso científico reciente. A continuación, nos proponemos examinar si la crítica de los defensores de este naturalismo renovado está o no justificada, confrontando sus argumentos con el auténtico sentido de la crítica trascendental al naturalismo, teniendo en vista el estatuto del significado y su correlación esencial con una vida subjetiva racional (teórica, valorativa y volitiva) constitutiva de sentido. Esperamos mostrar que la fenomenología trascendental no solo no se opone a la investigación científica natural, tal como sus detractores sostienen, sino que más bien puede estar mejor equipada para proveer a las ciencias naturales de un complemento y de un fundamento filosóficos en el contexto de un nuevo cambio de paradigma científico, postmecanicista
