Hastalar ve Yöntem: 2008 ve 2009 yıllarında hemoptizi nedeniyle hastaneye yatan hastaların kayıtları retrospektif olarak incelendi. Hemoptizinin miktarı hafif (<30 ml/gün), orta (30-100 ml/gün), ağır (100-600 ml/gün) ve masif (>600 ml/ gün) olmak üzere belirlendi. Ayrıca “yeni” (son 1 ay içinde) veya “tekrarlayan” (1 aydan daha uzun süre) hemoptiziler belirlendi. İstatistiksel analizlerde ki-kare testi kullanıldı.
