Resumo: Os propositos deste artigo caminham em duas direcoes. Em primeiro lugar, consiste em discutir a produtividade do conceito de “configuracao discursiva”, oriundo da proposta teorico-metodologica da semiotica de Paris, para designar uma forma de agrupamento de discursos em torno de uma tematica comum. A escolha desse conceito propicia um afastamento do termo “tema”, que, para a semiotica, tem um sentido bastante preciso, que se diferencia do senso comum, e, ao mesmo tempo, do termo “genero”, que tem um uso mais abrangente que o atribuido a “configuracao discursiva”. Em segundo lugar, este trabalho propoe examinar a configuracao discursiva do “comportamento”, detectada no corpus que da sustentacao ao trabalho, para descrever seu funcionamento. O referido corpus consiste no levantamento de listas dos livros de literatura infantojuvenil mais vendidos no Brasil, no periodo de 1994 a 2004, realizado em dois jornais e em duas revistas de circulacao nacional. The first of them is to fully discuss the discursive configuration concept, originated from the theory-methodological Parisian semiotic proposal that designates discourse groupings towards a common theme. The choosing of this concept allows a distinct separation of the term “theme” that, for semiotics, has a very precise definition that differentiates from the common sense of the concept and, at the same time, from the “genus” term that has a more wide usage and was attributed to “discursive configuration”. As second aim we pretend to examine the discursive configuration of the behavior detected in the corpus that allows sustentation to the work, to describe its functions. The referred corpus consist in a research of the child-youth Brazilian bestseller lists from 1994-2004, performed in two newspapers and in two journals of national circulation.
