Surface faults related to land subsidence have been observed\udin coastal cities, such as Nantong, Yancheng, and Lian Yungang, in Jiangsu\udProvince (CAJS) since the early 1970s. Nowadays, increases flooding and\udrising sea levels are attributed to subsidence caused by groundwater\udpumping.
