The aim of this study is to analyze the grammatical items in the High School EnglishIand II textbooks in Korea and compare them with the grammar test items of College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT). To achieve this goal, this study analyzed grammatical items in high school English textbooks which follow the revised 2015 National Curriculum of Korea. Also, the grammatical test items of CSAT from 2016 to 2020 were analyzed. The results of this study are as follows : 1) More different categories of grammar items are shown in High School EnglishII textbooks rather than High School EnglishItextbooks. ‘Participle’ shows the highest frequency in High School EnglishI whereas ‘adverbial clauses’ are presented the most frequently in High School EnglishII. 2) The results of correlation analysis on the frequencies of grammatical items between High School EnglishItextbooks and CSAT and between High School EnglishII textbooks and CSAT are insignificantly recognized.
