We consider nonstationary vertical magnetic field at an arbitrary point inside the ungrounded circuit, located above a thin conducting layer. Based on this model received differential and integral norming functions, that allow to transform transitional process into effective longitudinal conductivity of geoelectric cross-section. By means of investigation of transforms, obtained for a homogeneous halfspace, shown the principal possibility to utilize the electromagnetic soundings by using the method of transient processes in the central tablet inside perturbing circuit, without a significant distorting effect of setting’s geometry.
