Inclusive energy spectra of protons, deuterons, tritons, 3Heand a-particles as well as spectra and angular distributions of two coincident charged particles emitted following stopped negative pion absorption in eLi, 7Li, 12C, 5,Co and ,,7Au were measured. Inclusive charged particle spectra are compared with results from neutron spectroscopy and discussed in the framework of the pair absorption model as used in published Monte Carlo cascade calculations. The results of 12C, 5,Co and I,7Au are in agreement with some of the previous experiments. For Li-isotopes only poor data existed up to now. Energy and missing mass spectra, angular distributions and yields of two coincident charged particles are presented. Peaks corresponding to quasi-free absorption on different clusters and specific final state interactions are observed in the coincidence spectra of the Li-isotopes. Especially in the t-t spectrum of 7Li evidence for *H formation with a resonance energy of (2.7+0.6) MeV and a reduced width of (2.3+0.6) MeV is found.
