要 旨:1989年 の てん かん お よびて んか ん症候 群 の国 際分類 の提案 以来 、多 くの新 しい 症候群 が提 案 されて きた。 これ らにつ いて は その存在 が確 認 され た もの もあるが、 今 後 の検 証 を待 た ね ぼな らない もの もある。その後 の検 討 に よって1989年 の分類 が必 ず し も適 当で ない症候 群 もあ り、 また それぞ れの境 界 の不 明確 な症候 群 もあ る ことが 分 か って きた。しか し多 くの症 候群 で は、さ らにそれ ぞれ の特徴 が明 らか にされ て い る。 最近 の最 も大 きな進 歩 はてん かん の分子 遺伝 学 的解 明で あ り、一部 の特 発性 てんか ん で変異 遺伝 子 が明 らか に され、 て んか んが チ ャネル病 に位 置 す る こ とが解 明 された こ とで あ る。 て んか ん研究1999;17=107-120
