Este artigo tem por objetivo analisar a realidade vivenciada pelos trabalhadores rurais no momento de solicitação do beneficio de aposentadoria junto ao Instituto Nacional de Seguridade Social (INSS). Para fundamentação teórica desta pesquisa foram levantados dados quantitativos do período de 2011 a 2015, realizados na sede executiva de Salvador, no intuito de discorrer sobre as buracracias encontradas nos trâmites dos processos dos segurados especiais, que atuam muitas vezes no labor informal e se veem no liame de dificuldade no momento de comprovação do exercicio da atividade rural.
