The purpose of this study is to propose a research method that enables Korean SMEs to overcome trade technology barriers and achieve global competitiveness through the establishment of quality infrastructure and the strengthening of standardization capacity. In particular, we constructed more sophisticated strategies by measuring individual and corporate variables related to the company's successful policy implementation. The following results are expected through this research method. First, TBT avoidance, elimination, and mitigation measures for strengthening competitiveness of SMEs will be able to be derived. Second, we expect academic and practical contribution to establish various strategies in other fields by applying qualitative research method and quantitative research method at the same time. Third, by demonstrating the causal relationship model, it is possible to derive additional clues as well as the original strategies to improve the performance of SMEs.
