With the development of smart phone related technology, people tend to depend on smart-phone rapidly. The use of smart phone enrich our life with various and useful functions. However, it also cause a lot of social and personal problems. Recently, the problem cased by smart phone over dependency called as ‘digital dementia.’ Specifically, the over-dependency of smart phone use can lead to memory and judgment problem, as well as communication disorder. Therefore, this study attempted to investigate the relationship among smart phone dependency, failure of memory, poor judgment, communication disorder with college students sample. This study suggested the solutions for these problems as following. First, the guideline for correct smart phone use must be educated from early childhood, consistently. Second, the study about the problem cased by smart phone over dependency and solutions should be studied by multidisciplinary areas.
